Speed up Windows Vista with ReadyBoost
From PMDG Ops
Windows Vista has a handy little feature called ReadyBoost that can use USB 2.0 sticks, SD cards and CompactFlash cards for additional memory. Note: ReadyBoost won't make a noticeable difference on computers with 2GB or more of RAM. (I am using ReadyBoost on my 4GB machine only because someone has lent a 4GB USB 2.0 stick for experimentation!).

Set up
To enable ReadyBoost, insert your ReadyBoost compatible drive into a spare socket. When the AutoPlay window pops up, select ReadyBoost; select how much space you want to allocate to ReadyBoost and click OK. You need at least 256MB for ReadyBoost and once you reserve space, you can't use it for anything else as long as ReadyBoost is being used on the drive.
That's it!
